Trail Description: From the gauging station follow a mild bushwhack up Soapstone Ridge; go left onto the Barnett Branch Trail; Go left onto the Black Mountain Trail past Buckhorn Shelter. At Buckhorn Gap, turn left onto the Buckhorn Gap Trail; turn left onto S. MillsRiver back to gauging station.
