Driving Directions: I-26 E to I-40 W to exit 37; US 23 W to Canton. Take Canton bypass to NC 110 S (becomes NC 215 E); left onto Little East Fork Rd. to just past Camp D. Boone on left. Look for kiosk at trailhead.
Notes: Wilderness area w/ limit of 10. Water at DeepGap-East;-After first big left, go 200 ft. On lower side of the road boulder about a foot high. From below the road the boulder appears about 3 ft high. From this boulder go about 600 ft at 141 magnetic.
