Have you ever wanted to explore Western North Carolina's winter outdoor wonderland during January, February and March, but were unsure of how to do so without risking a serious case of frostbite? This year, Diamond Brand Outdoors will be holding a series of Winter Backpacking Clinics during the month of January.

 

Topics such as how one keeps and loses body heat and the dangers of injuries due to cold weather will be beneficial to winter weather adventure seekers.

 

At the conclusion of the course, participants will be encouraged to take an overnight group trip, although space will be limited.
