Walking in Spain
When: January 13th at 7pm
Where: Diamond Brand Outdoors, Arden Store
The Five Carolina Mountain Club Members including Tom, Carroll, Jay, Charlie, and Don will present "Walking in Spain, Summer 2007." Back by popular demand from their presentation of their 2008 Summer walk in France, the "Five Amigos" recount their earlier walk along portions of "The Way of St. James."
Come Join Gary on One of These Walks!
Tues. January 13th, 10 am. Sandburg Home Walk.
Meet in the parking lot. Walk the trails behind the Sandburg Home. Those choosing to walk to the top of Big Glassy and back will walk about 3.5 miles.
Tues. January 20th, 10 am. Park to Park Walk.
Meet in the Jackson Park parking lot by the Recreation Department Offices and walk to Patton Park and back on the Greenway and Mud Creek Nature Trail. 4 miles.
Tues. January 27th, 10 am. Walk the trails and paved paths at Fletcher Community Park.
Meet at the shelter in back end of park. We'll walk the wood chip path along Cane Creek and the less developed trail between the park and Mills Gap Rd. 2 miles approx.
