In Memoriam

From the newsletter of the Unitarian Universalist Church, Asheville:

Our church community is diminished by the death of Leon Christiansen last Saturday, March 10th at Emerald Ridge Rehabilitation and Care Center where he resided.  Leon and his wife Jane became Members of UUCA in 1995 and were dedicated members of our choir until Leon's health began its decline.  A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 21st at 2:00 PM at Emerald Ridge.  Full details will be included in the obituary listing in Sunday's Asheville Citizen Times.   A candle will be lit in each Sunday service in memory and celebration of Leon's life.

Anne B. Kent, 93, of Hendersonville, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Heritage Lodge, following a period of declining health. Thos. Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
